Frequently Asked Questions

How does Purchasing Power compare to other voluntary benefits offering?

Purchasing Power is the only company that offers a voluntary employee computer purchase program with the ease and affordability of payroll deduction. Alternatively, employees may purchase through a cash discount program.

As a full-service provider, we handle the qualification, purchasing, and payment processes from start to finish. Employers have no additional overhead, and are never liable for purchases made by employees.

How does this program complement other existing voluntary benefits?

Purchasing Power is a tangible benefit that employees can take advantage of in their every day lives. This benefit is often sought by employees who do not participate heavily in other voluntary benefits, which is why it effectively complements other voluntary benefit products. Additionally, the program supports employee self-service initiatives by allowing some HR functions to move online.

Is the commission competitive?

Yes. Due to the consistent penetration levels over time, the premium is both stable and competitive. Additionally, once an employer implements Purchasing Power, there is little involvement for the producer. Purchasing Power processes all orders, handles all customer service and takes care of the marketing efforts.

How does an employer get the program started?

Getting started is easy. There is a short application and agreement form that the employer needs to sign to get the process going. Once the agreement is approved, an implementation manager will work closely with the employer to ensure a successful program launch.
